Since 2007, Vladimir Lungu is conductor, while since 2009 he is the Musical Director of the State Opera and Ballet House from Mersin, Turkey. He participated at 2012 Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival, 2012 Mersin International Music Festival, and also actively collaborating with Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya and Samsun State Opera Houses, Izmir, Adana and Eskisehir Philharmonic Orchestras.- "...We had a pleasant, memorable reunion with Vladimir Lungu, who was an inspired choice, with major contributions to the success of the show: a steady hand, balanced sound, very good cooperation between the orchestra, soloists and the choir.
